What are the requirements to resit the OSCE exam?
1) Is it possible to change the centre for the resit?
No, it is not possible to change the exam centre for the resit. You are required to attend the same exam centre where you initially took your exam. This is a standard procedure to ensure consistency and proper tracking of your exam records
2) If the ID check has already been done before, do I need to carry the documents again?
If the ID check has already been completed, you do not need to carry the documents again. You only need to bring your passport to the exam.
3) Why does the result email show “failed up to seven stations”? Do I have to resit all stations?
The “failed up to seven stations” is just the format of the email. You do not need to resit all the stations. You are only required to resit the stations that are marked in the yellow-colored box in the result email. Only those specific stations need to be retaken.
4) Why does the result email mention “viva”? What is it?
In the first attempt, if you made a mistake during the practical stations, the assessor may give you a chance to rectify it by asking questions. If you answer the questions correctly, the assessor may consider it and possibly adjust your performance evaluation based on your response. However you will not be offered a Viva during this resit.
5) What is the procedure to go for appeal or review of the exam result ?
Mail to university as a reply mail to your result mail, with subject as appeal, and in body explain why the result is contradictory.
